Prime Minister Modi on Oppn Questioning Surgical Strikes: “Can At Least Listen to What Their Friend Pakistan Has to Say” | Exclusive

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday in an exclusive interview with Network18 that if the opposition doesn’t trust the nation’s military and the Center on the move, it should at least pay attention to Pakistan’s hesitant acceptance of India’s surgical strikes.

In an interview with Amish Devgan, Managing Editor of News18 UP, Prime Minister Modi stated: “The Congress is deeply hostile toward the nation’s armed forces.” Recall that they had previously called the army head “Gali ka Goonda.” What else would you expect from someone with such opinions toward the armed forces?

“Even Pakistan does not say that surgical strikes did not occur,” the prime minister said. The leaders of Pakistan have said in their parliament that while India is carrying out airstrikes and surgical strikes, they are doing nothing. Congress may at least hear what its buddy Pakistan has to say if they [the Congress] don’t trust us or the nation’s security forces.

When Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cast doubt on the Indian Air Force’s involvement in Pakistan’s Balakot after the Pulwama incident in February 2019, claiming that no one knew for sure if it had occurred, India’s surgical strikes returned to the political agenda.

For Modi, winning elections is the goal of everything, even politics. Thus, Modi’s perspective is inappropriate for the nation. Thus, the nation must now exist without the BJP and without Modi. They respond to everything by saying “Jai Sri Ram.” The Pulwama event is a prime illustration. They’ve been unsuccessful. How is the IB operating? What is being done by the intelligence network? After the Pulwama event, Modi tried to use the surgical strike for political gain, according to Reddy.

The BJP responded sharply to his statements. “By providing Pakistan with a clean sheet in their bid to defeat Modi, the Congress party is casting doubt on the military’s gallantry and India’s stance on terrorism. They are providing them with a means of defending themselves against terrorism-related accusations in international forums. Pakistan is supporting the Congress since this is their true goal, according to BJP national spokesman Shehzad Poonawalla.

During his election rallies, Prime Minister Modi has discussed his government’s “Ghar Mein Ghus Ke Maara” policy on many occasions. The BJP, led by Narendra Modi, made this demand, and it proved to be quite effective in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, especially after the public enthusiastically endorsed India’s twin surgical strikes in Pakistan in 2016 and 2019.
