RPI (A) chief and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Monday suggested NCP chief Sharad Pawar to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and said that his (Pawar) experience would benefit both Maharashtra and the country. Athawale said in his statement that Pawar should come with Prime Minister Narendra Modi . There is a good relationship between the two leaders and Prime Minister Modi also respects Pawar. Recently, Pawar has also expressed a positive stance on a number of topics including issues related to China.
He said that by joining Pawar's NDA in such a situation, his experience will benefit both the country and Maharashtra. The RPI chief said that this is his personal opinion, but when the opportunity comes, he can talk to the NCP leader about it. He said that if this happens then there will be a Mahayuti of BJP, NCP and RPI in Maharashtra.
