Release of the electoral manifesto by Ashok Gehlot for the Rajasthan assembly elections

With the presentation of the Congress platform for the assembly elections on Tuesday, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot pledged to create 10 lakh jobs, conduct a caste census, and provide farmers with interest-free loans up to Rs 2 lakh.

In addition, the party pledged to create a special legislation to implement MSP in accordance with the Swaminathan Commission’s recommendations and to recruit at the panchayat level.

The Congress also pledged to interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to small merchants, shopkeepers, and young entrepreneurs, and to quadruple the amount provided to recipients under the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh yearly.

Party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Gehlot, PCC head Govind Singh Dotasra, former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot, CP Joshi, the chairman of the manifesto committee, and other officials launched the manifesto at the PCC office here.

Joshi emphasized the key aspects of the manifesto and said that MSP will be awarded in accordance with the suggestions made by the Swaminathan Commission.

On November 25, Rajasthan will have elections, with results announced on December 3.
