Resolution Calling For Peace In Manipur Adopted By The Lok Sabha
In the presence of the opposition, the NDA MPs warmly supported a resolution in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that called for peace in Manipur.
Home Minister Amit Shah requested that Speaker Om Birla read a resolution calling for peace in Manipur as he wrapped off his remarks on the no-confidence motion in the House.
Rajnath Singh, the deputy leader of the house, and Shah, who spent a lot of time discussing the Manipur problem in Lok Sabha, both agreed with Shah’s approach.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, a Lok Sabha lawmaker for the Congress, said that the resolution should be accepted on Thursday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi once a draft has been given.
Birla then read aloud the resolution that the House had approved.
