Row starts when Mallikarjun Kharge’s helicopter is checked

The Congress has sparked a new issue by accusing poll workers of singled out opposition politicians while allowing the governing NDA’s leaders unrestricted movement. In Samastipur, Bihar, Congress chairman Mallikarjun Kharge’s chopper was checked out in the most recent occurrence.

On Saturday, Kharge spoke at election rallies in Bihar’s Samastipur and Muzaffarpur. The opposition asserts that while Kharge’s chopper was investigated, the BJP-led NDA’s leaders were not exposed to the same oversight.

The main spokesman for the Congress’s Bihar unit, Rajesh Rathorre, expressed the party’s worries on social media. Rathorre said in a video message that the Congress leaders’ helicopter inspections were becoming routine, citing a comparable episode in which Rahul Gandhi’s chopper was checked in Kerala.

Rathore posted a video allegedly showing the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar supervising Kharge’s helicopter inspection in Samastipur in person. In the video, authorities, including police officers, are seen encircling the chopper.

Rathorre, the top spokesman for the Congress in Bihar, stressed the need for transparency in these areas and asked the Election Commission (EC) for clarity.
