Rowers from Chandigarh University excel in an intervarsity competition

At the All India Inter-University Kayaking, Canoeing, and Dragon Boat Championships held at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh University (CU) took home the most medals.

The 500-meter dragon boat D-10 race was won by the CU contingent. Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) took second place, while Shivaji University (SU), Kolhapur, finished third.

In the kayaking K-1 event (1000m), the CU team likewise triumphed, with GNDU and Punjab University (PU) taking second and third, respectively. The canoeing C-1 event (1,000m) was won by the CU rowers, with the GNDU coming in second and the PU third.

The first three places in the kayaking K-2 race (1,000m) went to the CU, GNDU, and Punjabi University, Patiala, in that order.
