Sanjay Raut refers to BJP leaders as “election mafias” and attacks PM Modi’s roadshow in Mumbai

Sanjay Raut, the head of the Shiv Sena (UBT), reacted angrily to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, where a dust storm caused a hoarding fall that claimed 18 lives. He called BJP officials “chunav mafias,” according to news agency

“They (the leaders of the BJP) just need to run for office and win at any costs. These are the Chunav mafias, or election mafias. PM Modi is now in Nashik and Kalyan. In Delhi, when will he sit? When will he carry out his responsibilities as prime minister? The people will determine that Shiv Sena Maha Vikas Aghadi will triumph wherever PM Modi visits. Here, the BJP is losing the war. At a news conference on Wednesday, Sanjay Raut said, “PM Modi is campaigning everywhere because he fears losing the elections,” according to ANI.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister, who had accused Praful Patel of having relationships with Dawood and Iqbal Mirchi was seen with the same Praful Patel. Praful Patel placed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s turban on Prime Minister Modi’s head. We don’t give the turban to just anybody; it’s unique. Who has granted Praful Patel this authority?He said, “PM Modi and Praful Patel have disregarded Maharashtra and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,” according to ANI.

On Wednesday, PM Modi is scheduled to conduct a roadshow in the Ghatkopar region. His tour is elaborately planned by traffic cops.

On X, the Mumbai Traffic Police said, “The LBS road will remain closed for vehicles from Gandhi Nagar junction to Naupada junction, and the Mahul-Ghatkopar road will remain closed from Meghraj junction to RB Kadam junction from 2 pm to 10 pm.”

Additionally, PM Modi will host electoral rallies in Kalyan in an effort to bolster the BJP’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

With 48 Lok Sabha seats, Maharashtra has the second-largest number after Uttar Pradesh. The current Lok Sabha elections have completed both their first and second stages. The second phase was held on April 26, while the first phase happened on April 19. The dates of the third and fourth stages are May 7 and May 13, respectively.

Next, on May 20, Maharashtra will have its elections. On June 4, there will be a vote count.
