Supreme Court rejects anticipatory bail plea of Atik Ahmed's son Omar, absconding from 2019

The Supreme Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Mohammad Omar, the son of Mafia Atik Ahmed. Omar had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to avoid CBI arrest. The Supreme Court rejected the petition saying that on July 23, 2019, a non-surety warrant was issued, the investigating agency has failed to get hold of you and you have brought a petition for advance surety to us, the petition is dismissed
Omar had filed a petition in the Supreme Court to avoid CBI arrest. The CBI has declared a reward of two lakh rupees on Omar. A few months ago, his photo was published by the CBI in the entire city. Atik Ahmed was closed in the state's Deoria jail in 2018. During that time Atik's operatives kidnapped real estate businessman Mohit Jaiswal.
Mohit was taken from his vehicle to Deoria Jail. After this, Atik beat Mohit and got his two companies forcibly named after their operatives. After this, Mohit filed a case at Krishnanagar police station in Lucknow, accusing Omar of threatening and forcibly transferring the company. After the Supreme Court's order in this case, the CBI registered a case against Atik Ahmed and others on 12 June 2019. Omar is absconding since that time.
