Teenage Rape Victims in Telangana Pass Class 10 Exam and Want to Become Police Officers

Two young rape victims in Telangana have just completed the Class 10 exams with flying colors, demonstrating incredible resilience and persistence in the face of tremendous trauma. The state has recently revealed the results.

The story of the younger daughter, who is 15 years old, is really disturbing since, in 2023, her own father sexually assaulted her. Her grandmother brought her to the hospital when she complained of a stomach ache, and it was then that the doctors learned she was pregnant.

To make things worse, because of the advanced stage of her pregnancy, an abortion was not an option.

According to M. Mahender Reddy, a police officer who handled both cases, she gave birth in the ninth month.
