The 66 kV sub-station in Pawa Khagat is inaugurated by the State Power Minister

Today, Pawa Khagat hamlet hosted the official opening of a 66 kV grid substation by Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh. At a cost of Rs 10 crore, the sub-station was built. It is anticipated that the grid sub-station commissioning would increase the power supply and make it easier to approve industrial connections.

MLAs Hardeep Singh Mundian, Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, Sarpanch Pawa Khagat Parminder Singh, Sony Khagat, Karamjit Singh, and Lakhwinder Singh were among the village leaders that accompanied Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan Singh promised the public a high-quality, dependable, and continuous power supply at the inauguration.

According to the minister, the sub-station was built to relieve the 66 kV sub-station at Kanganwal and the 220 kV sub-station in Sahnewal. It will benefit the companies and communities nearby.

“The state administration is dedicated to giving customers a high-quality electricity supply, and CM Bhagwant Mann leads this effort. To lessen the burden on the current substations, the government is constructing new ones all around the state. He said that more transformers have been preserved to accommodate future power supply needs. The newly created sub-station includes twenty MVA power transformers.

The minister also said that the length of the previous running lines will drop once the new 11kV feeders were operational.

The state’s population will always have access to a steady supply, according to the administration. Aside from this, the most of the impoverished now have free electricity, and the absence of bills is evidence that the AAP administration has kept its word to the people, the speaker said.

The damaged road leading from Gugga Mari in Pawa Khagat to Nandpur hamlet was brought up by the locals. The road, which is a vital conduit to Nandpur, has long been in poor condition. One villager said that the government has never bothered to fix the road that the people use on a daily basis.

The minister responded by promising them prompt action and early road recarpeting.

Senior PSPCL officials were in attendance, including Giaspura XEN Sukaran Grewal, Sahnewal SDO Navjot Singh Dhillon, Chief Engineer (Operations) Ludhiana Inderpal Singh, Chief Engineer (P&M) Ludhiana Punardeep Brar, SE (West) Anil Sharma, and others.
