The AAP urges the public to participate in the INDIA bloc gathering scheduled for tomorrow

Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) state convener, Gopal Rai, embarked on a door-to-door endeavor on Friday, beseeching individuals to partake in the grand rally organized by the INDIA bloc at Ramlila Maidan on March 31.

The party orchestrated an extensive outreach, disseminating formal invitations to ensure optimal attendance at the rally. Rai, accompanied by party cohorts, engaged with denizens in Regarpura and Karol Bagh, imploring their presence at the forthcoming event.

In a collective outcry, Opposition factions decried the Central government as “autocratic,” lambasting the apprehension of key opposition figures as ‘arbitrary.’

“Ever since the BJP government incarcerated the democratically elected Chief Minister of Delhi, there has been profound indignation among the populace. They are incensed by the arrest of an elected Chief Minister,” remarked Rai.

“While known miscreants are aligning themselves with the BJP, the Chief Minister, who has diligently served Delhi, finds himself behind bars,” he appended.

Rai asserted the presence of eminent leaders from the INDIA bloc at the rally.

As per party insiders, the roster includes Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Farooq Abdullah, Champai Soren, Kalpana Soren, D Raja, and Sitaram Yechury.

Rai elaborated, “This rally is a manifestation of our dissent against Kejriwal’s arrest and a defense of our nation’s democratic fabric. His apprehension is an assault on democracy, executed in a dictatorial manner.” He emphasized that Kejriwal’s detention had laid bare the BJP’s hollow crusade against corruption, elucidating that his arrest was politically motivated.

The Delhi Police have granted authorization for the INDIA bloc to convene the rally, albeit subject to certain stipulations, with an allowance of approximately 20,000 attendees on the premises.
