The Caller Claims to Be a Gangster UP businessman receives threats from Goldy Brar through voice message

Officials said on Sunday that a businessman reportedly got an extortion call from a foreign number from a guy who identified himself as the mobster Goldy Brar. They added that Uttar Pradesh Police has filed a FIR in the case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other states in the nation have issued warrants for the arrest of Canadian-based mobster Brar. Additionally, he is sought for the murder of the Punjabi musician Siddhu Moosewala.

According to the FIR, a copy of which is with PTI, the complainant received the first call from an overseas number on WhatsApp at 6 pm on September 10.

According to the FIR, the caller described himself as Brar, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s group.

According to a representative, the complainant first believed the call to be a hoax, but on September 12 he received a call from the same number and was once again threatened.

“In the other conversation, a businessman from western Uttar Pradesh was solicited for Rs 2 crore. The merchant also received a voice message from a person identifying themselves as Goldy Brar, he said.

According to the FIR, the complainant said that he lives in “huge fear” and is unable to do his regular tasks.

The Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 504 (intentional insult with purpose to incite disturbance of the peace) and 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication) have been recorded by the Uttar Pradesh Police, and an inquiry has already been launched.

According to the authorities, Brar identified himself as the sender and added, “…jaan hai to jahan hai, wadhia kaam karte raho… If there is life, everything is there, says the proverb “meri voice check karwani hai to karwa lo.” Maintain your wonderful job. If you want to check my voice, go ahead and do it. Security services were informed of the information since Brar is a wanted mobster and is now thought to be hiding in the US, according to them.

Additionally, the Interpol issued a Red Corner Notice (RNC) on him in July of this year.

Brar, a native of Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, moved to Canada in 2017 but often visits the US.

Rapper and performer Honey Singh reported threats from Brar to the police earlier in June. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has filed a FIR on the situation.
