“The high command of the BJP will decide on alliances.”

The central leadership will make the ultimate decision about the Andhra Pradesh electoral alliance, according to BJP State Chief Daggubati Purandeswari. She revealed that Union Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh would visit Vijayawada on February 27 and preside over the meeting of the BJP Core Committees of all Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. She made this announcement to media before to the party’s State election management committee meeting on Saturday.

She said that the BJP leaders in the State are now focused on fortifying the party and that they would take appropriate action once the top command declares its choice about the alliances for the Andhra Pradesh polls. On the other hand, insider information indicates that the central leadership will finalize the seat sharing and declare their intention to join the TDP-JSP combination within the next few days.

Purandeswari also voiced her doubts about the state’s election’s freedom and fairness. She claimed that in regards to the election standards breaches, the BJP has filed a complaint with the Indian Election Commission. “This is a clear violation of ECI guidelines,” she added, pointing out that Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao had instructed the volunteers to convey voters to the booths and “act as polling agents.” ~

“On February 2, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy personally encouraged the volunteers to accompany older persons to voting places and urge them to cast ballots for fan (YSRC election symbol) at an event in Guntur’s Phirangipuram. Citing each of these cases, I have submitted a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner,” she said.

Purandeswari said that the BJP is the genuine defender of the people and that, with the opening of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled the aspirations of the people dating back 500 years.

She went on to explain the party’s Praja Poru Yatra, saying, “We will highlight what the BJP has done for the State in order to seek the people’s mandate.” In attendance were B Sivanarayana, GVL Narasimha Rao, and other senior figures.
