The Tennessee government builds internet infrastructure in 20,332 government and assisted schools

Chennai, 30 May Twenty,332 government and assisted schools in the state now have internet connections thanks to the installation by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department.

The School Education Department stated in a statement on Thursday that, thanks to BSNL’s assistance, the facilities have been provided to state-run government and assisted schools.

Twenty,332 of the 37,553 government and assisted schools in Tamil Nadu have internet access. According to the announcement, by the second week of June, internet access would be available in the remaining 17,221 schools.

The statement claims that 3,799 middle schools, 10,620 elementary schools, and 5,913 government high schools and upper secondary schools have internet access.

Teachers at government and aided schools, particularly those in remote regions, may now utilize the facilities for school-related work instead of traveling to distant internet caf├ęs, according to the School Education Department.
