There will not be a lockdown-night curfew in Assam right now, know what Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said
Coronavirus figures are increasing rapidly in the whole country. Daily frightening cases of Kovid are coming out. In view of this, lockdown and night curfew has been announced in many states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. While many state governments have imposed lockdown and night curfew in their respective states as a precaution, there is currently no possibility of lockout and night curfew in Assam.
Assam Health Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma) has dismissed speculations about lockdown and night curfew in the state. He said that lockdown and night curfew is not going to happen in Assam at present.
1 lakh corona test target in 7 days
Health Minister Himanta Biswa appealed to the people, 'If you feel any symptoms of corona then you should get your corona test done. He said that there is absolutely no need to panic… yes though we should be cautious ’. Sarma said that we have a target of taking at least 1 lakh Corona test in the next 7 days so that Bihu can be celebrated with pomp. He said that we will also issue SOP for Bihu Utsav.
Meanwhile, today i.e. on 8 April, Assam's CM Sarbananda Sonowal took the first dose of corona vaccine at the Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati. Along with the vaccination, he also appealed to the people to get the vaccine.
