Three arrested for stealing guars

Sirsa: The Sirsa police said that they have solved the case of guar theft worth millions of rupees from a warehouse in the nearby industrial sector with the arrest of three people. The suspects, Rajkumar, Sunny, and Rajkumar, are all detained.

The owner of the warehouse, Rajiv Kumar, reported the theft to the police between March 20 and April 2. The accused acknowledged using a vehicle to assist them steal 180 bags of guar.

Sirsa: On Wednesday, the people of Bharokhan village mounted a protest against the Public Health Department, after the death of two children in a water tank. The department’s Junior Engineer and Senior District Officer arrived at the location. Following lengthy negotiations between the protestors and authorities, the latter promised in writing that fencing would be erected around each of the three water tanks and that the construction would start by April 22.
