Two IHTM interns are placed in France
Rohtak Tannu and Dheeraj, two students from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak’s Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (IHTM), have been chosen for a special internship at the Hotel Kyriad Prestige and Spa in Lyon, France. In order to get a spot at the prestigious internship, Tannu and Dheeraj, who are both studying their Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) in Semester IV, had to go through a series of interviews.
Tannu and Dheeraj thanked the director and professors of IHTM, saying that they were grateful for all of their support in molding their careers and getting them ready for such chances. Professor Ashish Dahiya, the director of IHTM, praised their diligence and commitment while highlighting the enormous potential that the hospitality and tourism industries possessed both domestically and internationally.
RKSD College and IPPB reach an agreement
Kaithal: To finance its activities, RKSD College in Kaithal has an agreement in place with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), a public limited corporation that is fully controlled by the Indian government via the Department of Posts. According to Principal Sanjay Goyal, the joint venture’s goals were to work with a scheduled commercial bank to perform faculty development programs, industrial and vocational trainings, and internships.
