Two parties argue outside Circuit House on a little matter

To maintain control over the state of law and order, the police have put in place a sufficient security system and implemented the model code of behavior. Although neighbors were alarmed by the reported late-night shooting incident outside the Circuit House on Ferozepur Road on Wednesday, the police have also issued orders for licensed guns to be deposited.

It has been discovered that a small mishap between two automobiles sparked an altercation between the two groups, after which a member of one of the groups opened fire. Later on, bystanders alerted the authorities.

Inspector Bhagtveer Singh of PAU police station SHO and ACP (west) Jasveer Murad arrived at the spot after the incident, however, the arguing parties drove away before the police arrived.

It happened last night at approximately nine o’clock. Following an accident between a Maruti Swift and another vehicle, there was a disagreement between the two drivers. After calling their friends to the location, one of the groups started shooting. Panic ensued in the vicinity due to the purported sound of gunfire. Both individuals drove away from the area.

SHO Bhagtveer Singh said that he had arrived at the location with the police party. Nobody made a complaint at the police station. The purpose of the altercation and the identities of those involved were being questioned by the police. As of yet, no case has been reported.

The SHO said that it was not yet known whether there had been any fire. However, locals claimed to have heard gunfire as well.
