Two people are detained for having stolen a motorbike

A stolen motorbike with registration number PB08-VE-0991 was found, and two people were taken into custody by the Jalandhar (Rural) police today. The cops said that a closed NRI’s home had the stolen Bullet motorbike. According to officials, Satveer Singh, a native of Phagwara’s Bhanoi tehsil who is now living in New Zealand, reported the theft of his black Bullet motorcycle—which was parked at his maternal grandparents’ house in Jajjan Khurd village in Phillaur—to the police on February 2 via WhatsApp.

Based on the information, the police detained the suspects, Lakhvir Singh Garcha, also known as Feera, who lived in the Phillaur hamlet of Jajja Khurd, and Jaswant Singh, also known as Jassa, who lived in the same area. The stolen motorbike was found by the police in their custody.

On February 2, the Phillaur police station lodged a complaint under Sections 454 and 380 of the IPC. The two suspects were placed under remand, and the police said that more investigation was underway.
