Two teenagers escape from a juvenile facility in Vellore

Two young people are being sought for by the Vellore police after they are said to have broken out of the district’s government place of safety on Friday. Under the Department of Child Welfare and Special Services, the safety home is run.

 

There are thirty persons living in the institution, which shelters people between the ages of eighteen and twenty-one. “On Friday, the two people escaped by climbing the wall when a group of kids were playing in the facility’s open space. According to the police, one individual is from Virudhachalam and the other is from Coimbatore.

The Vellore New Bus Stand, Vellore Old Bus Stand, and Katpadi Railway Station Junction are among the important places that have been searched as part of an inquiry that has been launched by the inspector of the South Police Station and the Vellore North Police. Six people broke out of the same prison in March 2023, although they were apprehended shortly after.
