Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said - Mobile games like PUBG make people violent and pornographic

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that many mobile games are 'violent, vulgar and habitual'. He said that PUBG is just an example, so the government will set up a Gaming Center of Excellence to promote Indian cultural values.
PUBG is included in more than 100 mobile apps of Chinese origin that were banned by the government last year. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has said that the Ministry has decided to create a Game Center to teach courses related to VFX, Gaming and Animation to develop games that promote Indian values.
Gaming center will start this year
In the All Maharashtra Toy / Games / Project Design Competition 'Khel Khel Me' virtual and prize distribution, the Minister said that these courses will start this year. The minister said, 'I am very happy to announce that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has decided to set up a center of excellence in gaming and other related areas in collaboration with IIT Mumbai (IIT Mumbai). We are in the last stage of preparation and a new session will start from 2021. ''
