Video: Gangster Shot Dead by Members of His Gang on Wedding Anniversary

Pune/New Delhi: Gangster Sharad Mohol was shot and killed by other gang members in Pune yesterday, according to police, after a disagreement over money.

Recently, a video showing many guys firing close-range shots at Sharad Mohol in a Kothrud small road in Pune has surfaced.

The footage shows Sharad Mohol’s assistants trying to pull him to safety as he collapses to the ground after a gunshot.

According to the police, he was assaulted about 1:30 pm. “A bullet pierced his chest and two bullets entered his right shoulder,” they said.

According to officials, Mohol’s wedding anniversary fell on Friday.

After being taken to a Kothrud private hospital, he passed away while receiving care.

According to officials, his death is believed to have resulted from a fight inside his gang over territory and money.

Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, said yesterday that Mohol was slain by his own comrades, proving that it was not a gang war. “As our government knows how to deal with such notorious elements, no one dares to get involved in a gang war,” he said.

According to authorities, eight persons have been taken into custody in relation to the gangster’s murder thus far, and an investigation is ongoing.
