Dense fog likely in these areas

The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog in the Western Himalayan region, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next two days. Whereas during the next three days, dense fog is likely to increase in some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, UP, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim.

Chance of rain or snow in some states

The Meteorological Department said that there is a cyclonic circulation over South Konkan in the lower troposphere level. Due to which there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in the high areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad on Friday. Apart from this, light or moderate rain is likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Friday.

SHO Pana Chowdhary said that Naringaram (25) son Nanjiram Suthar, a resident of Dantiwas village under Bhinmal police station in Jalore district, committed suicide by hanging himself in his sister's house in GM City Colony. So far no reason has been found. The deceased was unmarried. His sister and brother-in-law had gone to the village on Makar Sankranti. When he came to know about this, he reached Jodhpur. An investigation has been started by registering a case on behalf of brother-in-law Nimbaram Suthar, a resident of Dhumbadia in Jalore.
