Soon, the results of the 2023 Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) will be released. According to media sources, today, June 15, at 9.30 am, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) would declare the results. The KCET 2023 results will be posted whenever they are available on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

On May 20 and 21, this year’s KCET was taken by around 2.6 lakh candidates. Those who pass the test will get an invitation to a counseling session. For applicants to undergraduate (UG) degrees provided at several government, private, and private unaided institutions throughout the state, the KCET is a state-wide test administered each year. A candidate must be an Indian citizen and have completed class 12 or a comparable test with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as required courses in order to sit for the exam.

Prior to the release of the findings, the KEA had already discovered an inconsistency in the RD data for applicants for reserves. The records of almost 80,000 students were out of sync, and 30,000 of them hadn’t updated their data yet. At 11 AM on June 12, the adjustment period came to an end.

Application for places in professional courses under the reserve quota would not be accepted, according to the KEA, for candidates with mismatched RD numbers. A list of applicants with mismatched RD numbers has been made public on the authority’s website. The cast, income, and Kalyana Karnataka certificates that these applicants have been given have been asked to serve as their genuine RD numbers. In the event that this remedy is not made, the candidates shall be held responsible for the results.
