The Uttar Pradesh government has agreed to offer five acres of land to the UP Sunni Wakf Board as directed by the Supreme Court within the Ayodhya matter.
The land alloted by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is during a village called Dhannipur.
It has been decided to offer the five-acre land to Sunni Waqf Board in Dhanipur village of Sohawal Tehsil of Ayodhya.
Dhannipur village is in Ayodhya on the Lucknow highway and about 18 kilometre from the district headquarters. Dhannipur village is around 30 kilomtre faraway from Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Dhannipur was identified on the outskirts of Ayodhya and is beyond 14 kilometre radius of the Ram Mandir. Dhannipur comes under Ayodhya Municipal Corporation.
RAM MANDIR TRUST GETS OFFICE IN DELHI'S GK
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust was announced today by PM Modi within the Lok Sabha. it'll oversee the development of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and manage its affairs.
The Union home ministry on Wednesday announced that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust will have its office in Greater Kailash, New Delhi.
Earlier within the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Lok Sabha that the Union cabinet had given its approval for the constitution of a trust for the development of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
In its November 8 verdict, the Supreme Court had directed the central government to make a trust which will oversee the development of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya within three months from the date of the decision . The deadline was ending on February 9.
