Will boost business and enhance healthcare, according to Anand Sharma in Chamba

The Congress candidate for the Kangra parliamentary seat, Anand Sharma, said today that he will seek to build large companies and improve the district’s healthcare system if elected to the Lok Sabha. In the Bhattiyat Assembly constituency, he spoke at corner meetings in Hatli, Manhuta, Balana, Raipur, and Kakira.

Congressmen gave Sharma and Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania a thunderous welcome as they toured the Bhattiyat Assembly segment during the course of the day.

He said that society’s fiber has been tattered under the NDA’s leadership. He said, “For the past ten years, the Central Government has been fomenting religious and regional animosity among communities in an effort to play divisive politics of hatred.”

He stated that while the people are aware of the part the Congress played in the growth of the country, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was taking all the credit for India’s progress.

Sharma said that the Congress does not engage in dishonest politics, keeps its word, and enacts legislation that benefit all facets of society, in contrast to the BJP.

“The BJP is busy dividing the country on religious lines, which will prove disastrous for the Indian democracy,” Sharma added, referring to the party’s focus on dividing the country rather than pressing concerns like growing unemployment and inflation. He accused the BJP of fostering conflict among groups and denounced the party for its divisive mission.

Sharma also outlined the Himachal Pradesh strategy for the Congress. He asked Bhattiyat residents to unite behind the Congress and vote for it in the next elections.

Pathania emphasizes Sharma’s input.

Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha Kuldeep Singh Pathania discussed Anand Sharma’s long history of public service in his speech, highlighting his roles as a four-term member of parliament and the head of key ministries in the Union Government.

According to Pathania, only Sharma is capable of carrying out crucial infrastructure projects like the Pangi-Chehni, Holi-Uttrala, and Chamba-Chowari tunnels, which are essential for the development of the area. He compared Sharma’s proactive approach to what he saw as the previous BJP MPs’ passivity in bringing up the issues of the Chamba district at the federal level.

Concurrently, in the presence of Pathania and Sharma, fifty-five households from Bhattiyat joined the Congress party.
