Abhinav Mukund Bets Against MS Dhoni And Co. Before IPL 2024 Opener vs. RCB: “Chepauk No Longer Fortress For CSK”

Delhi: The Chennai Super Kings have found happiness in Chepauk for almost ten years, but these days, things are different. Chepauk is no longer a stronghold for Dhoni and his squad, according to former CSK player Abhinav Mukund. The host team and Royal Challengers Bangalore will square off in the first IPL 2024 encounter on March 22 at Chepauk.

Over the years, there has been a fierce rivalry between CSK and RCB. At Chepauk, RCB was dangerously close to victory but was unable to cross the finish line. Several of these moments will live on in the hearts of the viewers, Mukund said on Jio Cinemas.

“The fact that the pitches in Chennai have altered is excellent news for RCB. For CSK, it is no longer a stronghold. They took home the championship last year, although they lost against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the Punjab Kings. However, CSK seems better on paper when considering the spin-friendly circumstances and their roster of spinners, the former CSK star said.
