After seeing a star IND batter, irrational fans lose their composure and mob Virat Kohli

The number of fans that follow Virat Kohli is unimaginable. His fans follow him wherever he goes simply to get a peek of the famous Indian cricket player. And the fortunate people are those who are able to grab a signature or a selfie. With victories over Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super Fours, India advanced to the finals of the 2023 Asia Cup, where Kohli is presently playing. The former Indian captain was surrounded by supporters before of the crucial match in Colombo despite the presence of security officers.

On social media, the footage of Kohli’s supporters swarming around him for photos has gone viral. The crowd were waiting in the hotel foyer when the Indian players seemed to emerge through a door. When they all saw Kohli among the players, they immediately lost their composure and surrounded the Indian star.

In time for the Asia Cup 2023 championship match against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Virat Kohli was reinstated to the starting lineup on Sunday. In the match against Bangladesh, which India lost by only 6 runs, he was benched.

On Monday, the game’s Reserve Day, against Pakistan, Kohli had one of his greatest efforts to yet. In addition to scoring an unbeaten 122 off 94 balls, he and KL Rahul contributed to a record-setting 233-run stand for the third wicket. India reached a massive 356/2 in 50 overs thanks to the unbroken partnership.

In response, Pakistan was bowled out for 128 runs, which resulted in a 228-run defeat. The best Indian bowler in the match was Kuldeep Yadav, who recorded the second 5-wicket haul of his ODI career.

In terms of all three forms, India’s latest victory came in 2018 when Rohit’s team defeated Bangladesh by three wickets in the Asia Cup in Dubai. India’s remarkable failure to handle crucial games and events has continued after that triumph.

In addition to losing to New Zealand and Australia in the World T20 Championship finals in 2019 and 2023, respectively, India advanced to the semifinals of the 50-over World Cup in 2019 and the T20 World Cup in 2022.
