Ahead of WrestleMania 40, WWE makes a new statement about CM Punk

NEW DELHI: WWE has said that legendary wrestler CM Punk would take part in the WrestleMania 40 events, but not as a wrestler. Fans will have the chance to meet “The Second City Saint” at WWE World, even though they won’t be able to participate in the ring during the main event.
WWE announced that former World Heavyweight Champion and WWE star CM Punk will appear at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on April 7th, which is Sunday night’s second night of WrestleMania.

A special chance for fans to meet and greet the iconic wrestler will be offered to those with VIP tickets during a CM Punk Meet & Greet session.
At WWE World, CM Punk will be joining an impressive cast of WWE superstars that includes well-known figures like Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Pat McAfee, and Charlotte Flair.

Given that Punk had a torn triceps injury during the men’s Royal Rumble bout earlier this year, his attendance at WrestleMania 40 is very significant. The injury—which occurred from Drew McIntyre’s Future Shock DDT—has been used in WWE narratives, and McIntyre has taken responsibility for Punk’s absence from a pivotal bout at WrestleMania.
Additionally, “The Best in the World” is promoted for Monday Night Raw’s return-home edition on April 1st, which is set to take place in Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center. Although CM Punk is not participating in the ring, his engagement in WrestleMania-related activities will no doubt fascinate fans and provide even more excitement for the annual spectacular.
