Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a former captain of India, had successful knee surgery. On Thursday, June 1, he had surgery at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. However, a photo of him before the procedure—in which Dhoni can be seen reading the Bhagavad Gita in the car—has gone viral. MS Dhoni, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), arrived to the hospital on May 31. He will also be released in one to two days, according to the information.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has had a difficult season as a result of the injury he sustained in the IPL 2023 season’s first game. He was often seen hobbling behind the wicket during games. Dhoni was spotted with a bandage on his knees even during the championship game. After winning the championship game, Dhoni made the decision to get knee surgery. On Wednesday, May 31, in the late evening, he was checked into Kokilaben Hospital. Sakshi, Dhoni’s wife, was also present. Media stories have included images of Dhoni reading the Bhagavad Gita prior to his knee surgery. Dhoni may be seen in the photo sitting in the vehicle holding the Bhagavad Gita. It is said that the photo of him is from before the operation.

Famous orthopaedic surgeon Dinshaw Pardiwala from Mumbai operated on Captain Cool’s knee. A member of the BCCI medical panel is Pardiwala. Kashi Viswanathan, the CEO of CSK, has claimed that Dhoni and him talked after the procedure. Dhoni’s knee surgery, according to him, was successful, and his health is getting better quickly. Dhoni declared the desire to participate in the IPL for one more season after winning the last match of the Tata IPL 2023. They now have plenty time to get in shape.
