Border-Gavaskar Trophy fan zone for India will be established by CA

Sydney, Australia, May 14: Cricket Australia (CA) has improved the fan experience for Indian cricket fans by providing designated sitting sections at all of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy sites, including the renowned Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

“Aligned with Cricket Australia’s Multicultural Action Plan, these fan zones will foster an inclusive environment for Indian cricket fans, promising an electrifying atmosphere,” the statement stated.

On November 22, India and Australia will begin their men’s Test series, which promises to be an exciting five-match affair.

“Fans are encouraged to secure their seats in the Indian fan zones, embracing the vibrant atmosphere by donning blue attire and traditional instruments like the Dhol for a family-friendly experience,” the statement said.

We’ll soon have more information on the India Fan Zone available.

India will play Australia in Perth on November 22 in the action-packed five-test Boarder-Gavaskar Trophy. On December 6, there will be a spectacular day-night test in Adelaide.

Following that, on December 14, both sides will square off at the Gabba. On January 3, both countries will be hosted by the MCG and SCG for the renowned Boxing Day Test.

Australia and India will play a five-match series as part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time since the summer of 1991–1992. This will give both teams a fair chance to further secure their spot in the ICC World Test Championship final the following year.

After winning the most recent World Test Championship final at The Oval last year, Australia claimed bragging rights, but India has been the proud owner of the prized Border-Gavaskar trophy since 2017 thanks to back-to-back series victories away from home.
