FIRST T20I between ENG and PAK 2024: Pakistan Removes Fast Bowler Hasan Ali From Squad

Hasan Ali, a speed bowler, was cut off Pakistan’s roster on Wednesday in advance of their first Twenty20 international match against England in Leeds.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Hasan has been allowed to finish his English County cricket obligations as veteran fast bowler Haris Rauf has returned to match fitness.

Hasan was included in the original 18-man roster that traveled to Ireland and is now in England to cover for Haris, who has been out since February due to a groin injury.

Hasan lost a lot of runs while playing in one of the T20 internationals in Ireland.

For the World T20 Cup, the English players will relocate to the USA and the West Indies. Pakistan is the only nation without a 15-member World Cup roster.

It is anticipated that England-based batsmen Agha Ali Salman and Irfan Niazi will be picked as traveling reserves for the major event.

The last Twenty20 match before the World Cup is between Pakistan and England. For the four-match series, all of the English players that competed in the IPL have returned from India.
