“Gandhiji Aap Kaise Ho?” Ravichandran Ashwin’s Viral Response to the Post That Suggested His Selection for the T20 World Cup

In addition to being a brilliant spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin has always been one of the funniest members of the Indian cricket squad. He often broadcasts videos and YouTube Lives where he talks about anything related to cricket. Against England, Ravichandran Ashwin has been chosen for the first two Test matches. The second-highest wicket-taker among current spinners, after Nathan Lyon (509 wickets), with 490 wickets in 95 Test matches.

However, Ashwin has a strong opportunity to beat Lyon when India plays England in a five-match series that begins later this month. To become the second Indian player to collect 500 or more Test wickets, behind the legendary Anil Kumble, he only has to take ten more wickets. Before the England Test series, he is now having a rest.

Ashwin just made a post on X, titled “Year of the World T 20.” The race to Challenge England for the Crown. #T20WC2024″ with a picture of India vs Afghanistan match.

A user using by the handle “Mahatma Gandhi (Parody)” responded, saying, “Ashwin deserves a place in the world cup team.”

In reaction to the post, Ashwin had a humorous remark: “Gandhiji aap kaise ho?”

He just came onto a hypothetical poll in which participants were matched according to their periods. It was a straightforward question: “Who would win these contests?” The player matchups included Sachin Tendulkar against Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam against Anil Kumble, Rohit Sharma against Wasim Akram, and Virat Kohli against Waqar Younis. There was also a match between Javed Miandad and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Ashwin acknowledged that he was not going to prevail in the “battle.” On his Instagram story, he said, “Miandad will prevail in our fight against me. What a fantastic athlete he was. All I want is for a time machine to exist.”

Ravichandran Ashwin recently responded angrily to Michael Vaughan’s remark on the Indian cricket squad. The former captain of England branded India as one of the most ‘underachieving’ teams in international cricket after their lackluster performance in the first Test series. Even several former Indian cricket players have mirrored Vaughan’s remarks, but veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin disagrees.

Taking exception at the statement, Ashwin responded sharply in a video posted to his YouTube page, claiming it’made him chuckle’ given how well India has performed in international cricket, particularly in the Test format.

“India is an underachieving side, according to Michael Vaughan’s remark during the first Test. Yes, it has been years since we won any ICC trophies. We refer to ourselves as the game’s powerhouses. However, the Test team has shown to be among the top touring groups in the area. In response, Ashwin said, “We have seen many excellent outcomes.
