According to renowned South African batsman AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli is India’s ideal number 4 hitter because he can maintain the innings’ balance and continuity throughout the next major championships. Shreyas Iyer hasn’t played competitive cricket in the previous 7-8 months, leaving India in a difficult situation regarding the number 4 place ahead of the ODI World Cup.
