India Fan Zones to Be Installed by Cricket Australia at Every Border-Gavaskar Trophy Venue

According to Cricket Australia, there will be designated sitting sections for the highly anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy at all five sites, including the storied Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney Cricket Ground, later this year.

In November and December, India will visit Australia for a five-match Test series.

According to a media release from Cricket Australia, “the fan zones will foster an inclusive environment for Indian cricket fans and create an electrifying atmosphere, in line with Cricket Australia’s Multicultural Action Plan.”

“Fans are encouraged to reserve their seats in the Indian fan zones as soon as they go on sale. They can also contribute to the lively atmosphere by wearing blue clothing and bringing traditional instruments like the Dhol for a family-friendly experience.”

We’ll provide more information on the fan zones later.

The highly anticipated Test series begins in Perth on November 22 and concludes with a day-night test on December 6 in Adelaide.

Then, on December 14, both teams will compete for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba. On Boxing Day Test at the MCG on January 3, both teams will play the Pink Test at the SCG.

India will be looking to make it a hat-trick of victories after returning from their past two visits to Australia with victories in both cases.
