India wins the toss and chooses to bowl against Pakistan in the ODI Men’s World Cup; Gill replaces Kishan

In the World Cup game on Saturday here in this city, India won the toss and decided to bowl against Pakistan.

Ishan Kishan will be replaced on the field by Shubman Gill, according to Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who missed the first two games due to dengue.

Ishan has been replaced by Gill. Ishan is unfortunate to lose out; I feel for him. When we needed him, he stood up.

At the toss, Rohit remarked, “Gill has been a special player for us over the past year or so, especially at this ground, and we wanted him back.”

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, said that they will use the same lineup as in the previous game.

Teams:

Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj are all Indian players. Rohit Sharma is the captain.

Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf are Pakistani players.
