India's top Tete players raised funds to help amid Corona crisis

New Delhi: India's top players Sharat Kamal and G Sathiyan are close to raising Rs 10 lakh to help table tennis members from the crisis caused by the Corona virus. This may help at least 100 people.

Former player Neha Aggarwal is also assisting her in this campaign. The three together have raised seven lakh rupees within four days. Financial assistance will be given to players, coaches and umpires.

Sarat said- Sathiyan gave the idea as he heard about the plight of some of the players who have become coaches. They have no work due to this current crisis. So we thought we could do at least that much.

World number 31 player Sharat said - So far it has been good and we can also do more than 100 people. When we raise 10 lakh rupees, then we will decide. Hopefully in two to three days we will do it.
