Rajasthan Royals have eight points from four victories with this loss. With three victories in their last four games, Kolkata Knight Riders maintain their second-place standing. But the Rajasthan Royals were back in the game, with to two wickets in an over by Kuldeep Sen and two wickets by Yuzvendra Chahal. At 157/6 in 17.3 overs, the Gujarat Titans seemed to be out of the game, but on the last ball of the innings, Rashid Khan (24 not out) and Rahul Tewatia (22) brought the team home.

Rashid struck two boundaries in the opening three balls and a four on the last delivery to pull off an exciting win with 15 runs required in the last over. Earlier, Sanju Samson (68 not out) and Riyan Parag (76) combined for 130 runs and hammered out fifties to propel RR to a tough 196/3.
