Max gets surpassed by Lando to win the Miami Grand Prix

At the Miami International Autodrome, Lando Norris raised, flung, and even caught his very first Formula One race winner’s trophy high above the podium.

The Miami Grand Prix was won by the twenty-four-year-old driver of Mclaren, handily defeating Max Verstappen, the most dominant driver of the previous three seasons.

“It seems like a good time, don’t you think?” smiled Norris. “What a race.”

During a mid-race full-course warning period, Norris overtook Verstappen and took the lead on many pit stops. He then quickly drove away from the two-time reigning race winner, eventually extending his margin to a 7.612-second triumph.
