New Delhi. Veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has joined hands with an NGO (NGO) to help the financially vulnerable 560 tribal children. Tendulkar has partnered with the 'NGO Parivar' which has built a service cottage in remote villages of Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh. Children of village Sevania, Bilapati, Khapa, Nayapura and Jamunjheel of this district are being provided nutritious food and education with the help of Tendulkar's organization.
These children are mainly from the Barela Bhil and Gond tribes. "This initiative of Sachin (Tendulkar) is a testament to his concern for the tribal children of Madhya Pradesh who are suffering from malnutrition and illiteracy," the release said. Tendulkar as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF Has been speaking on important issues like 'Early development of children'.
