Saint-Germain Paris Gianluigi Donnarumma and his partner were both attacked and robbed in Paris

PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his spouse were assaulted and robbed at their Paris home, which is frightening news in the football world.

According to sources in the Paris police, the couple was targeted by individuals who bound them up in their apartment.

Later, Donnarumma and his companion fled the area and sought safety at a nearby hotel.

The hotel personnel sounded an alert, and after that, the pair was escorted to a hospital.

According to a representative for the Paris prosecutor’s office, “an investigation has been opened on charges of armed robbery in an organized gang and aggravated violence following the events that took place overnight at Mr. Donnarumma’s residence,” the BBC said.

According to certain unsubstantiated claims on the news website Actu17, the assailants may have stolen jewelry, watches, and expensive leather items from the couple’s house valued up to €500,000 (£430,000).

AFP was informed by sources that the player suffered just minor injuries, while his girlfriend, model Alessia Elefante, remained unscathed.

The PSG goaltender will now fly to Japan as scheduled, according to renowned football transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano.
