Dubai. Royal Challengers Bangalore young batsman Devadatta Padikkal has said that he is feeling better now by practicing two and a half weeks before the Indian Premier League. RCB will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first match on 21 September. Padikkal said on RCB's YouTube channel, "It feels good to be back in rhythm. We practiced a lot on the net and now feel better than what was before the lockdown."
The Karnataka batsman scored the most runs in the Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The 20-year-old batsman has a strike rate of over 175 and averages 64 in 12 matches. Captain Virat Kohli and coach Mike Hesson are both impressed by him. He said about the woes here, "We are adapting it. We run. Let's keep a few sessions and work continuously on fitness.
