When Are You Going To Score Runs? : A Request To Sanju Samson from an Ex-Pak Cricketer

Sanju Samson has often joined and left the Indian team. The Wicketkeeper-batter has a lot of promise, but he or she is still hesitant to realize it on a greater stage. The T20I series in the West Indies is a prime illustration of how Samson, like the majority of the Indian hitters surrounding him, failed to impress with the bat. However, former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria believes that time may be running out for the Kerala player who has failed to capitalize on the opportunity offered since other names are likely to have more opportunities.

Many believed that Samson’s recent half-century, which came in the third ODI against the West Indies, was exactly what the batsman needed to reach top form in time for the next T20Is. But in the first two T20Is against the West Indies, Samson was absent with the bat.

Former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria was unreserved in his criticism of the great player for failing to take use of his opportunities.

“As many have grumbled that a few players haven’t got enough opportunity, India rested Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in order to give others a chance. Sanju Samson, when are you going to score runs now that India has played them? He has already got enough opportunities. I was one of those who encouraged him and wanted to see him get regular chances. He was cited as stating in a video on his YouTube channel, “However, he hasn’t capitalized on these opportunities.

Samson was not given the opportunity to bat in the third T20I, but with players like Yashasvi Jaiswal eagerly awaiting a chance, the Kerala cricketer’s time may be up soon.
