36 injured, 4 dead in bus-truck collision on Agra Expressway

KANPUR: Early on Tuesday morning, a sleeper bus from Gorakhpur bound for Delhi crashed with a vehicle on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj, injuring 36 people and killing four.

With around forty people on board, the bus had left Gorakhpur at five in the morning. Reportedly, the bus struck a divider when the driver fell asleep.

CM Yogi Adityanath expressed his sorrow and gave the go-ahead for officials to expedite rescue efforts and provide the wounded the best medical care possible.

DM Kannauj When they arrived, Shubhrant Kumar Shukla and SP Amit Kumar Anand oversaw the rescue effort.

On the Lucknow-Agra highway, a truck and a bus headed towards Delhi collided. There were forty people involved, twenty-one injured and four dead. For treatment, the victims were brought to the Govt. Medical College of Shri Bhimrao Ambedkar.

32 people were hurt and 4 people died in a sleeper bus disaster that happened in Kanpur on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. To Tirwa Medical College, the wounded were sent. Patients in critical condition were sent to Kanpur for care.

One person died and thirty-two were injured in an accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway involving a minibus transporting a marriage party to Jaunpur for Rohit’s wedding. It was decided that Baghpat’s Ravindra was dead.
