Akhilesh refutes the claim that his party has adopted a “soft Hindutva” stance, saying that SP has been “very soft” and has to take a hard stance

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav refuted the accusation that his party was now taking a “soft Hindutva” attitude on Saturday, claiming that his party had been “very soft” and needed to take a firm stand.

He said that while addressing a two-day party worker training session.

A new term has been created by the BJP. They (the BJP) claim that it seems as if we are also moving in the direction of soft Hindutva. There’s no need to freak out. We have been really soft, therefore now we need to harden ourselves, Yadav warned his party members.www.theindiaprint.com akhilesh refutes the claim that his party has adopted a soft hindutva stance saying that sp has been very soft and has to take a hard stance images 2023 06 10t211109.090

His statement is noteworthy since it was made the day after SP general secretary Ramgopal Yadav said that the training camp was an important step in “destroying the demons” and added that “the BJP is no less than a demon.”

Senior officials spoke during a gathering in Naimisharanya, in the Uttar Pradesh district of Sitapur, where around 5,000 party members were present.

Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, was criticized by the SP president for saying that “only four out of 100 people are unemployed” in the state.

Yadav criticized Adityanath, saying, “He says whatever his officers tell him.”

He also called the chief minister out for alleged “fake” police confrontations.

Regarding the caste census, Yadav said that, with the use of technology, the government could carry out the task in a matter of months.

“We will conduct the caste census as soon as we get the opportunity to create a government. Only once the caste census is completed, he said, can social fairness be realized.

The Samajwadi Party has been hosting camps for its employees to learn about booth administration and other crucial facets of electioneering in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

On June 5, the first training camp took place at Lakhimpur Kheri, while the second one was conducted in Sitapur.

Devkali and Naimisharanya Dham, two Hindu sacred places, are located in the two districts.
