The campaign for vaccination is now gaining momentum. The Health Department and the district administration are fully prepared to deliver the vaccination campaign to every village and door to door. Efforts are being made rapidly to reach the underprivileged people and get the dose of the vaccine. The cooperation of the head is special in this. Vaccination is now being done every day of the week. Keeping in view the convenience of the citizens, the centers were made.

On Thursday, vaccination was done till late evening at 184 centers including the district hospital. In which more enthusiasm was seen among the citizens of 18 years and above of every category. After registering, people got the first and second doses of the vaccine. Till late evening, the teams stood at the centers to vaccinate. District Immunization Officer Dr. Dev Narayan Singh told that there is no shortage of vaccine. Every effort is being made to achieve the target by giving the benefit of the first dose to the underprivileged citizens by the end of the month. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Archana Srivastava informed that the underprivileged are being reached through monitoring committees. Principal, secretary and social and political organizations are also cooperating a lot. The exercise has been intensified to reach the target set by the end of the month. There is also enthusiasm among the citizens.

On Friday, World Divyang Day was celebrated with solemnity in Vikas Bhawan auditorium. Sadar MLA Vikram Singh and former minister Amarjit Singh Jan Sevak jointly started the program by cutting the ribbon of the ramp built in Vikas Bhawan. During this it was decided that every village panchayat would be made a Divyang Ambassador, who would provide benefits of every scheme to the differently-abled of his panchayat, for which the handicapped is eligible.

The Sadar MLA said that the Prime Minister of the country has taken the handicapped out of the inferiority complex by giving the word Divyang in place of handicapped. The former minister said, the meetings of Divyang Bandhu have given convenience to the differently-abled. These meetings have facilitated the resolution of problems. DM Apoorva Dubey said that we should behave well towards Divyangjan and cooperate in getting them special opportunities. He talked about making ramps for the handicapped in all government offices, banks and ATMs easy and hassle-free. He talked about giving special facilities to the Divyangjans in the general elections of the Legislative Assembly. District Divyangjan Empowerment Officer Pragati Mishra enumerated the schemes run for the welfare of Divyangjans. On this occasion, 50 Divyangjans were given tricycles, five Divyangjans were given pension acceptance certificates. On this occasion CDO Satya Prakash, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar,
