Bullet Stuck Near Chest of Injured Toddler to be Removed After Observation in Lucknow Court Shooting

The operation to treat an 18-month-old child who was injured in the back during a shooting in a Lucknow courtroom is still pending. At King George’s Medical University’s pediatric ICU, the youngster is now being watched. When notorious mobster Sanjeev Maheshwari Jeeva was assaulted inside the courtroom, the girl was hurt.

The girl’s body still contained the gunshot, according to the medics.

“We don’t currently have any plans to remove the bullet. It is situated on the side of the chest and punctured the skin. According to trauma surgery department faculty member Dr. Yadvendra Dhir, the bullet entered the torso from behind.

“We are closely monitoring her health. Her status is stable for now, but she is still being watched closely.

According to Dhir, the choice to remove the bullet is based on her ability to undergo anesthesia as well as any potential early injury to her essential organs.

“We are not rushing. We will first assess her health before making any decisions,” he added.

The child was brought here as soon as possible after the Wednesday event. Her condition is routinely communicated to her father, Saurabh Kumar, and other caretakers. Doctors from diverse disciplines, including pediatrics, make up the monitoring team.

ADG Piyush Mordia said that all of the wounded people’s conditions are still stable in the interim.

According to Mordia, “the condition of both the injured police officers and the girl child is now stable.”
