According to the family members of the deceased, sometimes a scooty and sometimes a car was being demanded by the groom's side. The body of Muskan, the 19-year-old daughter of Arun Prakash, who lives here, was found hanging in a closed room on Wednesday night. It is known that the ground slipped under the feet of the family. Somehow breaking the door of the room, when the relatives reached inside, the dead body of the daughter was hanging from the fan. The relatives informed the police about the incident.

The father told the police who reached the spot that his daughter was walking with Omprakash, a resident of Bachgaon village of Narkhi area, for her daughter's marriage. After the marriage was fixed, the boy's side first asked for a scooty in dowry and later started demanding a four-wheeler. When the father expressed his inability to fulfill the demand, he refused to marry. According to the father, the people on the groom's side used to harass his daughter by talking on her mobile. Hurt by this, he committed suicide.
