Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to take effective action to prevent the spread of communicable diseases in the rainy season along with corona virus infection. A spokesman of the state government said that the Chief Minister also reviewed the preparations for the communicable disease control campaign to be conducted from July 1 to 31 in a high-level meeting on Monday. He directed that the Primary Health Center and Community Health Center should be kept vigilant regarding communicable diseases. Yogi said that awareness has an important role in controlling communicable diseases. In view of this, the information department should coordinate with the health department and carry out a wide publicity campaign and inform people about prevention of communicable diseases.
Directed the development authorities and local bodies in urban areas and the Panchayati Raj Department and Rural Development Department to conduct a massive campaign of cleanliness in rural areas. He said that active participation of all government departments and private offices should be ensured in this campaign. Fogging and spraying of anti-larval chemicals should be done effectively. Yogi instructed to take full vigilance and caution in Kovid-19's most affected Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad as well as the entire Meerut Circle. The Chief Minister said that arrangements should be maintained in Kovid-19 hospitals. The number of beds in Kovid-19 hospitals should be increased. He instructed to maintain smooth supply and availability of oxygen in every district. Yogi has instructed Kovid-19 to continuously increase the test capacity. He said that in order to increase the investigative capacity in various institutions Available resources should be fully utilized. While conducting truant machines and rapid antigen testing machines at full capacity, more and more tests should be done.
To control infection, the use of traunet machines in private hospitals should be encouraged. The Chief Minister directed to continue the work of setting up of Kovid-19 Help Desk at a fast pace. He said that Kovid-19 Help Desk should be set up in all departments and institutions. Private hospitals should be motivated to set up help desks. It should be ensured that Kovid-19 help desks are mandatorily installed in OPD operating hospitals. Yogi said that there is a possibility of infection from people coming in contact. Keeping this in mind, special care should be taken by the government officials and employees posted in the area. In the event of a worker becoming infected, another worker should be replaced immediately. The Chief Minister said that full vigilance should be taken regarding flood control in view of the onset of monsoon. Flood relief Camp should be prepared in time. Effective action should be taken to control the locust. Strengthening the arrangement of cow-shelter sites should ensure a smooth arrangement of fodder for the cow dynasty.
