The 24-year-old law student has been arrested from Gorakhpur. According to the news, the man's name is Arun Yadav. Police say he posted a video on Facebook. Arun Yadav is a student of Gorakhpur University. The university has also suspended him. The university has formed a disciplinary committee which is investigating the matter. Yadav is a first year student at the university. After presenting him in the local court on Sunday, he is currently sent to judicial custody.
Police will also impose IT Act on the accused
Police said on Monday that they came to know about the video two days ago. It was then found that it was posted from Arun's Facebook account. According to the police, they found that the faces of PM-CM were edited and planted there which were objectionable.
According to reports, the police charged Yadav with Section 153-A of the IPC (promoting enmity between various groups on the basis of religion, caste, place of birth, residence, language, etc.), 469 (forgery aimed at damaging the reputation ) Has been imposed. Police has also said to impose IT Act on the student. Gorakhpur University PRO Mahendra Kumar Singh said that the university has suspended Yadav. Simultaneously, his entry in the university campus has also been banned.
